ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION - DEFENDING THE HOMELAND

Expert to address issue of illegal immigration at Gig Harbor meeting

On Sunday, November 4th, a special town-hall meeting will be held at the Gig Harbor Grange to discuss what Washington state citizens can do about the problem of illegal immigration. The featured speaker will be Glenn Spencer, president of American Patrol, a California grass-roots organization that has struggled with illegal immigration for more than ten years. American Patrol is a multi-racial group with many black, Hispanic and Jewish members.

On October 14, 2000, Glenn spoke to a town hall meeting in Long Island, NY. The Sunday, October 15, New York Times reported, "He showed videotapes portraying the Immigration and Naturalization Service as too tolerant of illegal immigrants and warned that the government was not aggressive enough in patrolling our borders." Unfortunately for thousands of New Yorkers, these words of warning were not heeded.

As America prepares to "defend the homeland," citizens must understand why our government has not controlled illegal immigration. Mr. Spencer will give the background on the illegal immigration problem; who is behind it and why it continues. He will also show American Patrol's video "Conquest of Aztlan. Phyllis Schlafly called it "first-rate. Former Chief U.S. Border Patrol Agent Bill King said, "Every American should see it.

Spencer will outline the things individual citizens can do to help stop illegal immigration.

The meeting will begin at 1 P.M. Nov. the 4th at the Gig Harbor Grange, at the corners of Wollochet Dr. NW and Artondale Dr. NW, Gig Harbor. [Map, directions]
