MEXICO, "IRAQ" IN OUR BACK YARD - while we look overseas

April 7th I got a message from the Roger Hedgecock Show. Jimmy informed me that another incursion had happened in the United States. "Monday morning around 4:20 a.m., armed police officers from Mexico scattered several folks who had gathered near the river channel next to the San Ysidro port of entry. Two of the folks ran across our border and into the USA. A number of the Tijuana police officers followed, and crossed our border, with weapons drawn and then opened fire on the fleeing Mexicans. A Border Patrol agent at the scene got on his PA system and in Spanish told the Tijuana police to return home. The border is very well marked at this place. Two of the officers refused the demand and some 7 shots were fired as the cops ventured some 300 yards inside the United States. The area is populated. Coral Gates Housing Community is there, as well as Gateway to America Plaza. One of the fleeing folks headed toward our BP agent, but was grabbed by an armed Tijuana officer and dragged back across the border. Nobody seemed to be hurt.
Let's see. Crossed our border in unauthorized fashion. That's a crime in the USA. Brought guns into our country. Fired those weapons on American soil. Refused the order of an American law enforcement officer. Dragged someone on American soil back across the border into Mexico. Sounds like the kinda thing that ought to get President Bush on the phone to Vincente Fox, yes? Keep breathing...ain't gonna happen."
Jimmy went on to make a comment that if it weren't for the ROGER HEDGECOCK SHOW we would never have known this happened. He stated," No press releases came out from Homeland Security folks. Hush, hush. We wonder if local police responded to the sound and/or reports of gunfire? Hummmm. Folks, we are also told that an 'investigation' is underway. Count on ROGER keeping tabs on the whitewash as it develops."
How many of us would have heard this? Maybe a handful......how tragic that we cannot seem to get the attention directed to where it needs to be from the "powers that be." As you continue reading below this message, remember we are having an armed invasion south of our unguarded, porous, dangerous in the unnamed Border War.
