Open-Letter Response by Glenn Spencer (from VCT March/April 1998 newsletter)
The Mexican consul general is telling us that anyone not related to a Mexican by blood must prove that he/she is "integrated into our national culture," before being allowed to become a Mexican national or a Mexican citizen.
On Dec. 18, 1996 (KCRW radio, "Which Way L.A.?"), Pescador Osuna had the following to say: "In Mexico, in order to become a citizen first you have to be a national. Nationality means a kind of sociological concept that is related to tradition, to culture, to place of origin, to identity."
Jose Pescador Osuna has made it clear-in order to become a Mexican citizen, you have to be a Mexican.
Mexico insists on maintaining its cluture. Yet, whenever the people of the United States take similar action, they are branded as racists. Sooner or later the American people are going to figure out what is really going on.
