Driver's licenses for illegal aliens
"Rules are rules"????????
Really.
If "rules" are indeed "RULES" and are not to be ignored or trampled over, then 6 million of his "raza" are in clear violation of every rule in the book just by having snuck into this country illegally!
If he feels so strongly about the sacred impact of rules, he should make haste to see to it that these rule-breakers are punished and deported at once!

The 10/25 article by Bustillo would gag a maggot. The issue is driver's licenses for ILLEGAL ALIENS and not immigrants, You REALLY should be ASHAMED in misrepresenting the legislation in order to promote your pro Hispanic ILLEGAL ALIEN agenda.
It is not surprising that such blatant misrepresentation is causing your circulation and advertising to fall off a cliff. You are a discredit to all responsible journalists.

Gov. Lowbeam has gotten away with it! You bet he knew what he was doing! Asked Buck McKeon yesterday if he supported Tancredo's immigration bill. His response was "no," but he mumbled something to indicate there were things he liked about it. He also said, "Tom is a good friend of mine." In heavily Mexican Newhall he can't be for immigration curtailment.Barbara M.
INS ignores detained illegal aliensHello Again,
Just wanted to drop a line and give another example of how of government does not care about the illegal alien problem. I pulled over a van on Thursday night which contained eleven (11) illegal immigrants. I requested my dispatcher to call the Border Patrol to come pick them up. We were advised eleven bodies was not enough for them to come. I was instructed to let them go. I almost blew my top. Here I had eleven people, who will probably never get caught again, detained and I had to release them? The system is a joke. We have no immigration laws.
