Demise of our nation

Re: "Freedom Ride champions immigrants," Sept. 28 news story.

Although The Post did its best to elicit feelings of compassion in its one-sided article, readers must certainly be asking: Who are they kidding?

The 1,000 "immigrants" riding chartered buses across America to demand yet another amnesty aren't legal immigrants at all. And they didn't lose their visas, so they can't be undocumented workers. They are illegal aliens whose first act in coming here was to violate the laws of our land. And they continue to flaunt their disdain for our laws with their sponsored bus ride. Will the new Department of Homeland Security be waiting to deport them at their next stop?

Let's hope so.

One must ask what agenda The Post has that it could conveniently forget that our country is a nation of laws. And that perpetual disregard for our immigration laws - and thus our borders and system of laws in general - will ultimately lead to the demise of our nation.
