August 5, 2002"ANTI-ILLEGAL GARBER" TO RUN FOR ANAHEIM CITY COUNCIL Help get the word out to all who are fed up with our uncontrolled, hemorrhaging US borders. Dr. Howard Garber has seen tremendous changes -- good and bad -- in Anaheim where he has been a resident and active leader for 40 years. He has decided to join candidate Steve Eichler in running for 2 seats on the Anaheim City Council this November.
Major reason for running: The current indifferent, close-minded, unreceptive Council has long avoided upsetting Anaheim Hispanics who now comprise 50% of this city's population. Mayor Daly and the Council have for years ignored our past appeals re enforcement of Fed Code Sec. 133, (i.e., apprehending Illegals for INS deportation), opposing Mexican Consulate I.D.'s for illegals, etc., etc. While Anaheim barrios proliferate, California is fast becoming "an extension of Mexico".
Dr. Garber hosts the weekly Ch 3 "ACRU Report" issues program on Ch 3 TV, in its 6th year in Orange County. As a Law and Order, victims-rights advocate, he received almost 40% of the Republican vote in the 2000 Congressional Primary running against anti-Prop 187 Gloria Matta. His ACRU duplicated a 40 ft CCIR billboard on Hwy 10 at the Calif/Ariz border. The ACRU billboard reads: "GOODBYE CALIFORNIA -- THE ILLEGAL-IMMIGRATION STATE " (www.acru.com) Votes for outspoken Garber and Eichler will be important votes to change the current do-nothing, "status quo" Council.
Anaheim voters wishing to sign Dr Garber's endorsement statement can reach him at message phone (714) 282-VOTE or (714) 998-6225. Deadline for filing is August 9th.
