>>> Too Many Margaritas?

CitizensLobby.com was one of the first national immigration reform organizations to condemn Sen. Tom Daschle's and Rep. Dick Gephardt's recent trip to Mexico, as reported in the Washington Times on November 20th. The national newspaper quoted Scott Lauf, executive director of CitizensLobby.com, stating: "It is frightening to see that the Democratic leaders of Congress have not learned the tragic lessons of the 9/11 terrorist attacksTerrorists abused our weak immigration laws and open borders policies to secure visas to enter America to kill Americans. At a time when national security and border control should be the nation's top priorities, Mr. Gephardt and Mr. Daschle are having a little fiesta in Mexico and giving the green light for more illegal aliens to sneak across the border. Is this their idea of homeland security and an economic stimulus package? They must have drank too many margaritas." CitizensLobby.com is still urging all American citizens to keep up the heat on Sen. Daschle: Call (202) 224-2321; FAX (202) 224-7895 and E-Mail tom_daschle@daschle.senate.gov , and on Rep. Gephardt: Call (202) 225-2671; FAX (202) 225-7452 and E-Mail gephardt@mail.house.gov . Tell them "NO" to any amnesty, "regularization" or legalization of criminal Mexican aliens. While the Bush Administration officials wisely told Mexico they were deferring action indefinitely, Daschle and Gephardt are still hell-bent on amnesty legislation and hope to make it an ethnic campaign issue in 2002 elections.

>>> Californians Rally for Homeland Defense

Join American Patrol and the California Coalition for Immigration Reform in two homeland defense rallies and protests against Orange County's anti-American policies requiring Spanish over English, and the acceptance of Mexican IDs: Tuesday, December 4 at 200 S. >>> Will 'Political Correctness' Kill Us?

It is doubly dangerous to be an American citizen today. We are being brow beaten by blinded liberals to be "tolerant" of anything that is multicultural and diverse, especially Arab-looking foreign terrorists. If we even hesitate, we'll be condemned as "racists", or worst. Yesterday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearings by Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), dogging the Justice Department's detention of 603 suspected terrorists, perfectly exemplifies this distorted message. (And next week, there is another treat when Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) holds his own special hearings.) Something is clearly wrong in America when the Senate's self-anointed homeland defense team is more concerned about the "civil liberties" of suspected foreign terrorists than the lives of their fellow citizens. Apparently, these politicians cannot distinguish "non-citizen foreign terrorists" from "U.S. citizens." Within the last week, the news wires have been teeming with reports of political correctness that is killing us. Across the country, hundreds of U.S. colleges are still snubbing requests to disclose information about their foreign Arab/Muslim students. In Portland, OR and the Detroit-metro area, local and state police are blocking efforts to question over 1,300 non-citizen Arabs who may have information about 9/11. In New York City, Mayor-elect Michael Bloomberg, playing off the tragedy of Flight 587, stated that he'll ignore U.S. immigration laws and give a waiver to illegal aliens in New York City. In Florida, librarians are now in a quandary over whether it's kosher to report to the police any suspicious looking terrorist at their computer terminals (despite the fact that Mohammed Atta and his buddies used Florida's public library computers to plot their attacks sitting next to schoolchildren). In DC, it's been revealed that Argenbright Security, which provides security personnel for Dulles and Reagan National Airports, was forced by the Clinton Administration (via the EEOC) to actually hire Arab non-citizens. And the FAA recently caved in to a whining letter from the Sikh Mediawatch and Resource group, and issued new guidelines that make it illegal for airport personnel to force a Sikh to remove a turban so it can be searched!

>>> New Terror Threats & Warnings Persist.

U.S. and anti-Taliban forces rolling through Afghanistan have discovered more than 40 sites inside Afghanistan where Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network may have been producing chemical, biological, chemical and nuclear weapons. The FBI has warned the natural gas and nuclear power industries in the U.S. of possible terrorist attacks on their facilities. A leading Muslim cleric, Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, founder of Islamic Supreme Council of America (ISCA), has echoed the increasing view that bin Laden's terrorist network possesses as many as 20 nuclear "suitcase" bombs. The chairman of Russia's Islamic Committee and an active member of the Eurasia movement, Geidar Dzhemal, believes former East Bloc intelligence agents are working with al-Qeada agents inside the U.S. and are planning a new attack more devastating than the World Trade Center. France's counterintelligence chief Jean-Louis Bruguiere says that hundreds of al Qaeda "sleeper agents" are living in the U.S. and Europe waiting for their orders to strike, and that one possible attack might cyanide poisoning of our water supply. And Ananova news reports that Pope John Paul II is a target of assassination by bin Laden.

>>> Congress' Sneaky Pay Grab

As CitizensLobby.com reported in an earlier update, Congress is still attempting to sneak itself a 3.4% pay raise! This boost in salary may not seem much, but in total it amounts to a minimum of $2.6 million of your tax dollars for all lawmakers and takes effect before the end of the year, unless Congress itself acts to block it. Sen. Russell Feingold (D-WI) is trying again to force a vote on the issue and intends to attach a rider to pending Senate legislation. We agree with Sen. Feingold that with the ongoing economic recession, rising unemployment, and the costly war in Afghanistan, it is selfish for Senators and Congressmen to put themselves before the American people. Citizens should contact their own members of Congress at http://www.citizenslobby.com/congress. <http://www.citizenslobby.com/congress.htm> htm <http://www.citizenslobby.com/congress.htm> and express your opposition against the pay raise. Tell them $2.6 million can be better spent on our soldiers in battle, our Border Patrol agents, and American victims of terrorism.

>>> Congress to Burn Its Mail?

House Administration Committee Chairman Bob Ney (R-Ohio) has recommended to the FBI that bags of congressional mail, which tested positive for anthrax, be incinerated. A total of 507 bags of mail have returned anthrax-free from an irradiation facility in Ohio; however, 65 bags were found to be contaminated with deadly anthrax spores. In addition, 11 Senate offices and 4 House offices have already tested positive for anthrax, and decontamination efforts are continuing in the Russell and Hart Senate Office Buildings. Due to these circumstances, CitizensLobby.com still recommends e-mails, phone calls and faxes as the best methods to contact your members of Congress.
