Subject: Illegal Aliens in Your Employ

Dear Mayor Anderson,
I just finished listening to one of my favorite pastimes, the
Sunday evening Terry
Anderson radio program here in Los Angeles, no family connection
I'm sure. If, what was reported on his show, and was accidentally
confirmed by a Mr. Ewing who came on as your apologist, is accurate,
you, as a responsible Mayor of Salt Lake City might well and
properly be under detainment awaiting trial for harboring criminals
and for aiding and abetting enemies of the United States of America.

I'll tell you the story that aired last week and was confirmed tonight, and invite you to tell me if and how it differs from the actual facts.
I didn't find the story in any of our papers so am totally reliant on the accuracy of what I heard. It is reported that a Paul Warner of the U.S. Attorney's office in your city went to the airport in Salt Lake City to look into the security provisions that had been taken in light of the September 11 events. For obvious reasons to reasonable people but perhaps foreign to your Diversification at all cost motto is see splashed across your website, he ordered the examination of credentials of the Salt Lake City airport employees who had access to the security sensitive areas of the facility. He discovered, quite legally, that several hundred of your employees were criminals by virtue of their being here illegally by invading our borders and were operating under the use of counterfeit drivers' licenses and Social Security cards.
He then, it is reported, ordered the arrest of these criminals. When challenged by the usual suspects on being a racist Nazi, he is alleged to have said, words to the effect that "If the process is ugly, I'm sorry. But that's our law."
It is then reported that you, in a grandstanding speech uttered words to the effect that you wished you had been forewarned of this so you could have warned the people to get away from the airport so they wouldn't have been arrested.
How close to my understanding of the story is actually the truth, from your perspective? Has a terrible mistake been made, or do you actually favor and offer sanctuary to illegal, lawless, invaders of our nation. I look forward to hearing you declare your true colors in clear, non-Orwellian language. I'm totally prepared to have you tell me you do, in fact, favor and embrace the lawless--we have a mayor in Los Angeles who joins you as well as the Governor of California and the President of the United States.
I just want for you to tell me what sort of American you are before I go off broadcasting these indictments against you.
