January 5, 2004More Mexican Shenanigans
Prior to the 7 am hour today, we checked the link to the Mexican invasion guide, http://www.sre.gob.mx/tramites/consulares/guiamigrante/ . The link worked fine. It was posted as a media alert for a segment on the Rick Roberts Show (KFMB - San Diego) on which FAIR's Rick Oltman spoke as a guest on the invader handbook. At approx 7:30 am PST, the webmaster checked the link again. The guidebook had disappeared from the Mexican site altogether, resulting in an error 404 similar to this. A check of the SRE's home page, http://www.sre.gob.mx/ , revealed that the icon linking from the main page to the guidebook had been removed. We noted this on the American Patrol website.
At 9:17 am PST we noticed that the Mexicans had restored both the icon on the main page and the guide book. The Mexicans are claiming that they rotate the content of their site, and that's why the guide had disappeared. We say baloney.... if that were the case then there would have been no reason to remove the entire directory where the guide itself resides. Typical Mexican antics.
