On Saturday, February 26, 2005, ralliers protested in front of Wells Fargo Bank, Temecula, CA.
The protest targeted Wells Fargo Bank and its acceptance of the matricula consular ID. Wells Fargo, an outspoken defender of the matricula consular ID, has taken the lead within the banking industry in pursuit of illegal alien clientele. In addition, we distributed information on the immigration control movement.
Wells Fargo bank customers who approached the ralliers, were
given a handout listing banks that do not accept the matricula
consular ID and were encouraged to switch banks.
We assembled peacefully and spoke with customers who approached the rally. At one point, a border patrol agent - who will remain nameless - arrived and took a series of photos.
