Cutting it Close
While on patrol with his German Shepherds this morning, Glenn Spencer came across footprints near his home that looked like U.S. Border Patrol boot prints. Spencer lives less than 1/2 mile from the border but a new fence had kept intruders away from his house. Lately, however, he says there are increasing signs that they are jumping the fence.
"When agents are out of their vehicles, it usually means they are cutting for sign -- or tracking illegal aliens," Spencer said. "If they're cutting for sign less than 100 feet from my house, I have a problem," he added.
