Still Fighting for America
American Border Patrol got a very special phone call this morning. The caller lives in Washington State and is a retired farmer. He is also a retired Army Air Force pilot. He flew 56 missions in World War II as pilot in command of a Douglas A-20 Havoc in North Africa, Sicily and Italy.
"Whenever the ground troops got stuck they'd call in the A-20's," he told Glenn Spencer of ABP. Glenn spent about 15 minutes on the phone with the veteran - all the while walking along the border with his German Shepherds.
Despite being 94-years-old, the veteran was sharp as a tack, Spencer reports. This man, who fought for his country for more than 70 years, is still fighting to save it from Barack Obama. He has donated $5,000 to the border effort. "If I had my health, I be down there volunteering to fly the border with you," the veteran pilot told Glenn.
"If I only needed one reason to fight for my country," Spencer said, "I just talked to him."
