| Challenger Goes Thermal American Border Patrol's new Challenger II Light Sports Aircraft is now equipped with a thermal camera and a special onboard video system that shows GPS - based data linked to the video. Glenn Spencer flew the Challenger over Bisbee Municipal airport during daylight hours. Two people can be clearly seen standing next to the runway. Spencer says that at night people "stand out like Christmas Tree lights." The Challenger will be used to patrol the border where people and drug smuggling are known to occur. |
