| No excuses. Area around San Pedro River in Southeastern Arizona remains open to smugglers as barriers, removed for monsoon season, have yet to be replaced - despite the fact that the monsoon season ended a month ago.
Photo below shows Border Patrol vehicle behind bushes about 1/2 mile north of the border just west of the river. "I think it's more fun for the agents if they have to chase illegals rather than parking at the hole in the fence and acting as a deterrent," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol. |
