| American Border Patrol reports that fence construction in California has all but ground to a halt. "I think we can safely say that, with the exception of a three-mile segment near San Diego, DHS has finished fence construction in California," said Glenn Spencer. If Spencer is right, it raises questions as to why DHS left old ten-foot mat fencing in place all along the border. As shown below, DHS left this type of fencing in place, even in high-risk areas near towns such as Jacumba. "Why would our government not finish the job?", Spencer asked. "Did they run out of money, or was it just lack of interest?" |
