American Border Patrol

German TV crew prepares to fly with Glenn Spencer along the U.S./Mexico border. In center is Udo Lielischkies, Deputy Bureau Chief of ARD, German Radio & Television Network. Lielischkies is based in Washington, D.C.
During the flight Spencer spotted Border Patrol action on the Ladd Ranch. He positioned the TV crew to watch the Border Patrol, including a helicopter, search for and apprehend a group of illegal aliens that had crossed the border where the new fence had been installed.
Spencer had just explained to the TV crew that the fence along the border at the Ladd ranch was a bad design.
Returning to the spot about twenty minutes later the Germans taped what appeared to be a welding truck repairing a hole in the fence.
ABP has been visited by many TV crews from Europe but none from the U.S. "We continue to see a blackout of ABP by U.S. television," Spencer said.
