| A report by CBP today includes the following details about an attempted smuggling operation on the Colorado River near Yuma. ..."At the same time, about 10 individuals emerged from the nearby brush, dismantled and moved a vehicle barrier, and cut the lock on a security gate leading to the Levee Road at County 11 3Ž4. The three vehicles then drove onto the Levee Road with their headlights off, and headed northbound." Top photo is one of the new vehicle barriers on the Colorado River. Bottom photo is of a new fence along the Colorado River. Question: Do you think the smugglers could have dismantled the fence shown at the bottom? Do you know why the DHS won't build that type of fence instead of useless vehicle barriers that they call fences? |
