| Plugging the hole Construction crews finish installation of Normandy-style vehicle barriers along the banks of the San Pedro River on the border in Southeastern Arizona. "The San Pedro has been used by smugglers for many years," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol, "We are pleased that the DHS decided to plug this hole in our defenses." Spencer said the river bottom is still wide open to foot traffic. |
