| Glenn Spencer stands next to hole in border fence ripped open yesterday by a smuggler's truck. Spencer spotted the truck crossing American Border Patrol's ranch at 4 p.m. PDT yesterday. He immediately notified the Border Patrol. The smuggler was intercepted but was able to flee back into Mexico through the same hole. "Things are getting very dangerous here on the border as smugglers become desperate to get their load of drugs into the U.S.," Spencer said. In recent weeks the ABP ranch has been the scene of confrontations with drug smugglers and their vehicles have been sabotaged. |
