by ABP on October 6 at 10:51 am (PDT) shows work underway on
Hodges ranch in Cochise County by Chris Simcox. Simcox is planning
a fence on 0.9 miles of border on private property. (Earlier
work on Ladd Ranch was suspended in early June.) No other fence
projects have been announced by Simcox. Some questions arise: If the federal government builds its own fence (per law recently signed) and it follows the design used in San Diego, will the Simcox fence have be to torn down? Does the federal government have a duty to notify Simcox and property owner Hodges of this fact? If not, is the federal government serious about building its border fence? American Border Patrol will continue to report progress. |
