| Elusive National Guard Photos taken June 22, 2006 - Military assets found at airport in Deming, New Mexico. Helicopters are designated "United States Army." An aerial survey of the Border west of Columbus could find no New Mexico National Guard units. Smoke from brush fires kept ABP's Border Hawk M from checking the border between Columbus New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. A check of the Arizona/Mexico border east of the Huachuca Mountains found no evidence of the National Guard. |
