Apple Computer Stiffs Customer

December 7, 2007

Apple Computer has informed American Border Patrol that the part needed to repair its G5 computer (under warranty) will not be available until December 31. Glenn Spencer uses the G5 to process Operation B.E.E.F. data stored on a RAID array that can only be accessed by the G5. "Apple is forcing us to purchase a new computer," Spencer said. ABP is seeking donations to help it get the new computer and deliver its critical border report to Congress. A new Mac Pro configured for heavy duty video processing as needed by ABP costs $7,442 plus tax. Click here to help.
