Brief update on latest ABP aerial border survey

April 29, 2008 -- 3:35 pm PDT

This just in! Glenn Spencer emailed us from California to report that ABP has just completed its survey of the border and found that since it last aerial survey completed in January, fewer than nine miles of new fence has been added to the border with Mexico. The survey covers more than 700 miles between Fabens, Texas, and San Diego, California. "This is a stunning betrayal of the American People," Spencer wrote. Spencer, who pilots the survey airplane, reports seeing vast sections of open border where tire tracks signal the flood of people and drugs into the country. More tomorrow.
