Ancient Find Stops Fence?

American Border Patrol reports that construction of the border fence in the San Pedro Riparian area has been halted and that a group of people who appear to be performing an archaeological survey are working the site. The San Pedro River Riparian area is the subject of on-going archaeological research (see this web site). See photo. "If there are valuable cultural resources in this area, they must be understood and protected," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol.
