SPENCER SPEAKS TO 60 MINUTES
October 1, 2004Due to popular demand, American Patrol posted the email of Graham Messick, 60 Minutes producer. After about two hours, Messick called Glenn Spencer and asked that his email be removed (we did). He was getting hammered. Messick admitted telling Spencer that "an open border is a given," but said that 60 minutes might do a story about terrorists crossing the border. Spencer told him that the real story is the failure of the government to control the border when it has the capability to do it and that the major electronic media refuse to tell the truth. Messick had no real answer other than to suggest it involved higher ups.
