| April 21, 2004 (Posted April 22) - Palominas, AZ -- Border Patrol officers near drug-laden SUV. Driver was apparently heading for the border and missed reaching Smith Ave. off the picture to the left. View is looking south. House in the rear is home to small children under 10 years of age. The SUV could have easily run them down. Tracks suggest the SUV was heading West on SR 92 and missed the turn onto Smith Ave. "It's just a matter of time before they kill one of these kids," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol. Spencer took the photo. |
