FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

9/11 FAMILIES FOR A SECURE AMERICA ENDORSE MINUTEMEN

ANNOUNCEMENT AT 'SECURE OUR BORDERS' RALLY ON CAPITOL STEPS IN SACRAMENTO

When: 10 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2005
Where: West Capitol steps, Sacramento, CA

New York, NY (October 25, 2005) -- 9/11 Families for a Secure America will announce their endorsement of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps ("MCDC") at the "Secure Our Borders" rally this Saturday, October 29, 2005, on the West steps of the Capitol building in Sacramento, CA.

9/11 FSA spokesman, Peter Gadiel stated: "The 9/11 mass murders were made possible by the Clinton-Bush open borders policies which permitted the terrorists to enter our country and hide in plain sight among millions of other illegal aliens for many months while they planned their attacks. We have lost all hope that Pres. Bush will enforce the law of the United States and protect its citizens from invasion by millions of illegal aliens. It is therefore necessary to add our support to the Minutemen until such time as Americans have a President who has the integrity to enforce the laws of our country."

Confirmed participants in the October 29 rally include:

MCDC has been conducting a month-long border watch program this October called "Secure Our Borders." Over four thousand trained Minuteman volunteers have participated in non-confrontational border watch efforts on America's northern and southern borders. Minutemen act as extra eyes and ears for the Border Patrol and report directly to authorities any sightings of border crossings at other than legal ports of entry.
