NPR: Mainstream Media Part of Obama's Campaign
Stunning report on National Public Radio
American Patrol Report -- July 15
In a stunning display of naked honesty, National Public Radio has exposed the mainstream media's coverage of the Bain Capital issue as an example of bias in favor of Barack Obama; they are part and parcel of his campaign!
From the NPR Report:
"Political scientist and media critic Brendan Nyhan says that part of the problem is that the media has fallen down on the job in properly reporting this story."
From Nyhan's critique
Rather than clarify the misleading nature of the Obama campaign's claims, many reporters have played stenographer and simply summarized the debate for readers. These "he said," "she said" reports -- which have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, and the Associated Press and on CBS News -- serve the basic function of notifying the public of the existence of a dispute but fail to help voters arbitrate among the conflicting claims.
Stunning admission
The most stunning thing about this story is that NPR covered it. NPR is known as a liberal media outlet.
Watch this video of the NPR report – then watch George Stephanopoulos lie on This Week – then watch as Washington Post's Bob Woodward tells the truth on Meet the Press.
