Don't Forget About Illegal Immigration and Border Security
As the Presidential race builds, the immigration issue declines, at least as an issue. Mitt Romney has gone from the presumptive nominee to the presumptive President. It's still better to live in an economically battered America than an economically flattened Mexico, or any other country that is reeling financially. Besides, where else can they cash in on the child tax credit caper? In the face of federal impotence many states are passing their own immigration laws and the illegals are simply going where they are welcomed. The illegal aliens who left Arizona after SB 1070 went into effect didn't go home; they went to California, or Utah or Washington or New York, etc. Likewise from other states that passed their own enforcement laws... |
