American Patrol Report -- September 17
Utilizing the latest in Internet technology, American Border Patrol, the non-profit Arizona border watchdog group, has produced the first in a series of Podcasts on the border. The first Podcast deals with efforts by the State of Arizona to raise money to build a fence on the Mexican border.
"The Department of Homeland Security claims it has built 320 miles of fence along the Arizona-Mexico border," says Glenn Spencer, host of the reports, "Then why-on-earth is Arizona raising money to build a fence?"
Spencer goes on to take the viewer on a step-by-step guide to ABP's Operation BEEF border map that shows that much of the so-called fence is useless vehicle barrier. The Podcast also includes dramatic video of hundreds of people flooding across the border at Yuma before a new fence was constructed and what happened after it was constructed.
The Podcasts are best viewed using Apple's iPad or iPhone, although a Windows (WMV) version (much lower quality) is also available. |
