The Great Labor Day Betrayal
Obama Joins AFL-CIO Communists
American Patrol Report -- September 7
AFL-CIO's Chavez appears at 1996 D.C. amnesty rally.
An incredible scene will unfold on Labor Day. The President of the United States will speak at an AFL-CIO picnic in Cincinnati.
The AFL-CIO has been fighting for amnesty for illegal aliens for at least fifteen years. But legalizing millions of illegal workers will encourage more to come and drive down wages for American workers. How could it be that American workers allow their unions dues to be used to lower their wages?
With fifteen million Americans out of work, the president will meet with a group of radicals. What is going on?
Nine years ago, Lloyd Billingsley wrote: "Immigrants want jobs, but labor unions want new members, and the leftist militants now leading the movement want troops who can really "shut things down" to advance their class-struggle visions. Unions, shut out by middle-class Americans, are attempting to import a ‘new proletariat'..."
Van Jones may have left the Obama administration, but the communist movement didn't. "Workers of the world unite" is their rallying cry.
