The Los Angeles Times, a criminal organization if there ever was one, sat down with DHS Secretary Napolitano during her visit to the Border Security Conference in El Paso. Reporter Anna Gorman explored a full range of topics in her story, "Janet Napolitano on the border, immigration and more."
A scan of the article for the word "fence" found nothing. No mention of the most controversial issue on the border. Why? It's simple; the establishment has placed discussion of the border fence off limits to everyone, including Lou Dobbs.
The theory must be - "Don't talk about the fence because we would have to lie."
Gorman's first question was: How effective have the new technology and extra personnel at the border been, and what more can be done to target the drug cartels and border violence? She completely ignored the fence the one thing that has done the most damage to the drug cartels and the thing that started the Mexican drug war and the one thing that could end it.
The L.A. Times wasn't alone; we could find no coverage of the Border Security Conference that included the word "fence."
It should now be perfectly clear that, when it comes to the border fence, the American people are fed a diet of omission. It is the new "F-word."
