Being Led to Slaughter
Napolitano Fails to Defend the Homeland
American Patrol Report -- March 29
The administration "appears to be using border violence as an excuse" to undercut immigration enforcement in the nation's interior.
One day after Ernest Istook warned that the Obama Administration would be granting quiet amnesty, the Washington Post reports that DHS chief Napolitano has curtailed job-site immigration enforcement.
This comes on the heels of a decision by Napolitano to move 450 federal agents to the border, without asking for funds to replace them.
Rep. Lamar Smith (Tex.), ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said the administration "appears to be using border violence as an excuse" to undercut immigration enforcement in the nation's interior.
Responding to criticism of a raid at a military-related facility near Chicago that netted 100 suspected illegals, the ICE special agent in charge wrote an e-mail to his staff saying "You did nothing wrong and you did everything right." "I cannot control the politics that take place with these types of situations, but I can remind you that you are great servants of this country and this agency."
"It is incredible that in the face of rising unemployment, President-pretend Obama is moving to grant de facto amnesty to millions of illegal aliens," said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report. "Will Americans stand idly by as they are led to an economic slaughter?" he added.
