American Patrol Report Feature Continued

According to a report on San Antonio TV last November the ABP system, costing less than $100,000, aided in the capture 1,500 illegal aliens and drugs in less than six months. Perry’s system, restarted this past summer, aided in the capture of 10 illegal aliens and cost $2 million. It is considered a failure.

"Governor Perry’s management of the border camera system is questionable," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol.

In the coming months as unemployment skyrockets, illegal immigration will become a critical national issue, if it isn’t already. If Sarah Palin aligns herself with Gov. Perry knowing that he is soft on illegal immigration, she is headed for trouble.

Beyond public opinion, Sarah must understand the issues involved in illegal immigration. She must understand that America is importing poverty on a scale that will certainly turn it into a Third-World nation. California is the best example of what can happen. Its schools have plummeted from first rate to last rate in thirty years. Its tax base has eroded to the point where the state is now bankrupt.

And Mexican nationalism, also known has Reconquista, is looming on the horizon as a serious threat to domestic tranquility.

If she wants the support of the Republican grass roots, Sarah must take a hard line on this issue and position herself to oppose President Obama as he moves to soften immigration law enforcement and advocates amnesty.

Bill O'Reilly, once accused of being soft on illegals, is now speaking out about how the far left plans to change America by using illegal immigrants.

Will Sarah really align herself with them? After all, that’s what they want.

America needs a champion who will fight for her. Sarah Palin could be that champion, but not by aligning herself with someone who is on wrong side, for the most part, of the issue..

Illegal immigration is a complex issue, made more so by a national media that distorts the picture. It is also likely that upon joining the McCain team, Palin was set upon by his pro-amnesty propagandists who worked to convince her of the rightness of his position. It is time for her to take the time to study the issue of illegal immigration fully. It is time for the education of Sarah Palin. She must understand that the road to open borders is a dead end - for her, and for America.
