American Patrol Report Commentary Janet Napolitano makes no mention of the border fence or the Secure Fence Act of 2006. The fence is the only thing that works and she knows it.
One cannot play politics with a fence, but one can with everything else. Open-borders bureaucrats, already plentiful at DHS and ICE, will have full reign. Local police will be drawn from Mexico-leaning border towns.
She will never define what "Operational Control" means, thus assuring the continued failure of technological fixes.
