The Service Employees International Union (SEIU)
, long advocates for illegal aliens and amnesty, is suing the state of California to stop layoffs.
A severe budget deficit caused in large part by the cost of illegal immigration is forcing the state to layoff thousands, including members of the SEIU.
"These people are being hoisted on their own petard," said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report. Spencer, who studied economics in college, said there is a reason economics is called the dismal science. "As I said in 1992, this was going to be the inevitable outcome of importing poverty into California." He said California now faces a dismal future because of "political terrorism" by the likes of the SEIU and the Los Angeles Times.
Spencer pointed out that the SEIU is part of the AFL/CIO and its head, John Sweeny, is on Barack Obama's economic advisory board. "A vote for Obama is a vote to Californicate the rest of America." Spencer said. |
