Aerial survey reveals progress

Illegal aliens trample San Pedro River Riparian Area.
American Border Patrol
American Border Patrol reports that a new border fence between Naco, Arizona, and the San Pedro River is nearing completion. An aerial survey of the area performed yesterday [click here to watch] revealed ten miles of fencing is now in place, and that the final 1.5 miles of fencing is under construction at the southern boundary of the San Pedro River Riparian area.
"For five years American Border Patrol has documented a flood of illegal aliens through the San Pedro River Riparian area," said Glenn Spencer of ABP, "and this new fencing, that will disturb hardly a hair on the head of the riparian area, may well cut this flood significantly." Spencer said ABP will work to assess the effectiveness of the new fence.
