As I see it The Tucson Citizen's report on the border fence in the Tucson Sector was welcome, despite its many inaccuracies. It presented American Border Patrol the opportunity to present the truth about the border compared to what some in the liberal media would have us believe. Last week CNN reporter Abbie Boudreaux visited the border to do a report on the split between the people who formed the Patriots' Border Alliance and Chris Simcox. I flew the CNN crew along the border and Mike Christie of ABP used the Gully Watcher to help develop a story about the new border fence. I also took the opportunity to brief the CNN crew about American Border Patrol's Operation B.E.E.F. and they said they would recommend that CNN do a story about it. I hope CNN and others in the media decide to take on the challenge of reporting on progress in building our border fence and I hope that they will take advantage of the resources of American Border Patrol when they do.
