As I see it

American Border Patrol began civilian patrols in late 2002. Since then we have seen groups come and go, some bad, some good. We supported the Minuteman Project in April, 2005 principally because the man who started the effort, Jim Gilchrist, showed good qualifications and demonstrated a sincere desire to solve the border problem (he still does).

The volunteers who came to the border demonstrated that they are willing to make a sacrifice for their nation, but they need leadership worthy of that sacrifice.

A new group of proven leaders have now come forth to form a new alliance that will provide that leadership. Under Patriot's Border Alliance these patriots can continue their efforts. I have met with the leaders of this organization and I support their efforts.
