Ignoring the
Secure
Fence Act of 2006 on
orders of the government, the Boeing Company is launching
Project 28 near Sasabe, Arizona. "We are going to watch
this development very closely," said Glenn Spencer of American
Border Patrol. "The president signed a bill giving the Secretary
of Homeland Defense 18 months to build a 700-mile double layered
fence." Spencer said."He has thirteen months left and
we have yet to see any new fence," he added. "Twenty-eight
miles of virtual fence hardly scratches the surface."
