The Texas Border Coalition came to Washington. The group of mayors
and county judges in town at the invitation of Texas senators
Kay Bailey Hutchison and John Cornyn. The coalition concerned
about the border fence as authorized by the president last fall.
They shared those concerns with the senators and Homeland Security
Secretary Michael Chertoff, who attended the meeting.
El Paso Mayor John Cook: .... It should be the Department
of Homeland Security, and that's not what you see right now.
