He wrote the best-seller, The
Greatest Generation, but Tom Brokaw [said
to be a member of the CFR] is not following in their footsteps.
This well-known reader of the news steps in it with his latest
venture at real journalism called "In
the Shadow of a Dream," that will air Tuesday evening
at 8 p.m.
"Tom Brokaw puts a happy face on
illegal immigration and I only wish it were true," said
Glenn Spencer of American Patrol. Spencer looked at Brokaw's
"Indisputable
points" and found a lot to dispute (see
this link).
"From what I can see so far, Brokaw
took a rather subjective look at this problem," Spencer
said. "I hope Americans will take a hard look at this program
and tell NBC what they think."
