American Patrol November 23, 2006 -- Roger Barnett's lawyer, John Kelliher, maintains a small office in Sierra Vista. One day one of his clients was in the small sitting room waiting for an appointment with one of Kelliher's associates. The client began perusing the few magazines on the small table in the waiting room and was shocked to see among them the Journal of the Southern Poverty Law Center. The client remarked to the receptionist that Morris Dees was an enemy of the United States and pushed for open borders. She merely acknowledged the presence of the magazine. Later the client had a brief talk with Mr. Kelliher during which he said that Mexico was trying to take over the American Southwest. Kelliher's response was "Who really owns land anyway?" The client remarked that that was a strange position for a lawyer to take. |
