Video Report to Congress
Next week American Border Patrol will deliver a confidential report to congress detailing failures of the government to control the border. Using information that cannot be shown to the public for national security reasons, the report is a detailed account of how the Border Patrol works, and why it fails. "When a group of sixty people can walk right past border camera towers, one must question their value," said Glenn Spencer, author of the report. The report uses case studies of specific enforcement actions and applications of technology to highlight where the system went wrong.
