Handing
Mexico the Bomb?
If President Bush succeeds in pushing
his guest worker program, it will lead to the legalization of
half of Mexico, not to mention Central and South America. Some,
including former Undersecretary of the Treasury Paul
Craig Roberts, argue that the United States will become a
Third World country in twenty years.
As of January 2006, the U.S. stockpile
contains almost 10,000 nuclear warheads (Bulletin
of Atomic Scientists). Who thinks we won't still have hundreds
if not thousands of nuclear weapons in twenty years?
Bush is concerned
about Iran's nuclear potential. Losing the demographic war
with Mexico means it could dominate large parts of the U.S. Under
these conditions a Mexican nationalist might have the votes to
become president. If our Congress and the presidency are dominated
by Third Worlders, especially Mexicans, is that the same as handing
Mexico the bomb? |
