Garden Grove
- Once again peaceful Americans were met with violence in their
own land by a hostile invading force. A meeting to honor Minuteman
founder Jim Gilchrist degraded into a shouting and shoving match
and policed were attacked. Retired engineer Hal
Netkin, who is Jewish and married to a former illegal alien
from Mexico, was arrested after he tried to escape an attack
by people screaming "racist."
Gilchrist: "I'm very close to our
heritage from the 1700s and I see nothing wrong with carrying
on the American heritage. That is not racist. That is Americanism."
