is Very Serious Indeed
According
to Glenn Spencer, he watched the January 6 Gonzales hearing and
recorded the exchange between Kennedy and Gonzales when the latter
said, "Personally
I would worry about a policy that permits someone, a local law
enforcement official, to use this authority somehow as a club
to harass uhh they might be unlawful aliens but otherwise lawful
citizens." It was a poor recording at slow speed and
was rejected by his digital capture card, so he re-recorded it
off C-SPAN this morning.
According to Spencer, the entire segment
involving Kennedy's question on immigration and Gonzales' answer
was cut out of today's replay of the hearing on C-SPAN. "This
is a deliberate attempt to keep the truth from the American people,"
Spencer said.
