187 Rally Exposed Depth of Feeling
Los Angeles - Oct. 16, 1994 -- Three
weeks before California voters passed Proposition 187 almost
two hundred thousand (mostly) Mexican protesters filled downtown
Los Angeles. They heard firebrand speakers. Amongst them was
current Speaker of the California Assembly, Fabian
